Highpointe Hotel Corporation is a full-service management and development company based in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The company, founded by Darryl Lapointe, Dave Cleveland and Bob Cleveland in 1982, has provided professional management services for institutions, third party investors, and hotels in their own portfolio. Today, Highpointe employs approximately 500 people companywide and operates 14 hotels, with several new projects in its development pipeline.

Since 1994, we have completed over $150 million in new hotel development for our own portfolio (currently located in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mobile and Pensacola), and have assisted in another $50 million for third party clients. Highpointe's recent development experience includes the 107-suite Homewood Suites Pensacola Airport, the 120-room Courtyard by Marriott Pensacola/Downtown, and the 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile-Providence Park/Airport.

Additionally, the firm developed and continues to own/operate four hotels in New Orleans, including the 288-unit Hampton Inn & Suites – Convention Center. Most recently, the firm developed a 137-unit Hilton Garden Inn in Pensacola, Florida, which opened March 2010.
